MOSS

MOSS is a modular vertical storage system designed for the organized, compact, and protected storage of seedlings, small plants, and other organic contents. The product combines a clean outer enclosure with a structured internal storage layout, creating a system that supports storage, transport, and controlled access within a single modular unit. In its closed state, MOSS forms a unified protective volume with a minimal and visually calm appearance. The enclosure is built from composite structural elements and frosted acrylic surfaces, while the internal structure is reinforced by metal connector components. This material combination creates a balance between lightness, rigidity, and durability. The main body of the system is defined by the SF – Side Frame, the FAS – Frosted Acrylic Sheet, and the CF – Cap Frame, while structural connection and stabilization are provided by the CCR – C-Profile Connector Rail, TCR – T-Profile Connector Rail, and CS – Cap Skeleton. Inside the unit, the IST – Internal Storage Tray elements provide an organized internal arrangement for stored contents. Additional functional components improve usability and handling. The IAS – Integrated Anchoring Strap supports secure fixing and controlled transport, while the IRF – Insertable Rubber Foot improves stability and protects the supporting surface. The QTRL – Quarter-Turn Release Latch provides a simple mechanical opening method for accessing the interior. To open the system, the QTRL is rotated by 90 degrees and pulled outward, allowing the top cover to be removed. After the cover is lifted off, one SF – Side Frame element can be detached from the connector rail and set aside, making the internal storage trays accessible. The metal rail system also incorporates ventilation openings that support airflow through the interior. MOSS is conceived as a modular storage object that emphasizes clarity, accessibility, protection, and structural efficiency within a compact vertical form.
